About the project "Improving teaching, learning and researching in medical physics in SE European countries using modern technologies, innovative pedagogies and clinical practice"
The University of Craiova, in partnership with the University of Tetova, Paisiy Hilendarski University in Plovdiv, Aristotle University in Thessaloniki, and Geniko Nosokomeio Papageorgiou Hospital, is launching the project "Improving teaching, learning and research in medical physics in South-Eastern European countries through the use of modern technologies, innovative teaching methods and clinical practice" funded by the Erasmus+ programme, Cooperation Partnerships in Higher Education.
The project implementation period is three years, from November 1, 2025, to October 31, 2028. The maximum budget for the project is €400,000. The target group for the project will include 60 students and 12 teaching staff from the four partner universities.

The project aims to develop the clinical and theoretical skills of students and teachers who teach subjects in the field of medical physics. The project also aims to improve the clinical experience of teaching staff, research in medical physics, networking, and teaching methods used in medical physics to make the teaching process more interactive and attractive to students. The project will facilitate the exchange of experience and good practices between partner universities regarding teaching activities, the organization of workshops, webinars, and conferences for students, the joint development of teaching materials, and the writing of scientific articles.
The project activities are organized into three work packages:
- WP1 Project management,
- WP2 Production of teaching materials to be used in activities with students and teachers within the community of practice,
- WP3 Organization of activities with students and teachers in the community of practice created within the project.
The project launch conference will be held on November 29, 2025, at 9:30 a.m., at the University of Tetovo, North Macedonia. The conference will be followed by a transnational meeting.
